MAGNETIC ENERGY
What is magnetic energy?
Magnetic energy is energy in magnets and electromagnets. It is quite alike with electrical energy. When you create a magnet with a wire, battery and a nail a magnetic field is made around the wire when electrons move through the wire. From then it becomes magnetic and is called an electromagnet. Magnetic energy is the energy stored in a magnetic field in the form magnetic field lines. There are many examples such as:

- Door Bell- This works via a electromagnet when you turn it on and off it causes a metal object to attract to another magnet and therefore causing it to hit a bell.
- Compass- A compass is made up of magnets. It makes the compass point north when the small magnetic pin inside he compass is suspended so it spins towards the earths natural magnetism.
